Great news everyone! Blizzard Entertainment has finally announced that the anticipated Diablo 3 closed beta will be going live as of September 20, 2011. Unfortunately, however, Blizzard will only be selecting certain individuals to participate so make sure you are all checking your battle.net accounts for any updates. In case you know nothing about the game, Diablo 3 will follow the same hack and slash, loot hunting style similar to its predecessor Diablo 2, a game released almost 10 years ago that still boasts a huge active fan base. Players will fight through different acts as they ultimately must face off against Diablo and his cohorts in the ultimate battle for the fate of the world. Diablo 3 will feature one returning class, the Barbarian, and four new classes; the Wizard, the Monk, the Witch Doctor, and the Demon Hunter.
We here at El337 will be closely monitering the Beta, and any news or info given out by the players or Blizzard to keep all you fans in the loop. We will also be doing a showcase for each character class available so you can decide which character bests fits your playstyle, so stay tuned for that.
